St. Michael 14K Gold Police Shield Medal

5/8 inch polished and satin finish 14kt gold St. Michael medal. The medal is shield shaped and features a raised depiction of St. Michael in the center, who is shown slaying a dragon. Around the outer edge of the pendant in a polished finish gold border are the words, "Saint Michael Protect Us". The back of the medal is blank with a polished finish (photograph of the back of medal will be added in the future) and can be engraved with one line of text. Saint Michael is referred to as a saint, but moreover, he is an Archangel, and is the leader of all angels and the army of God. He has four main responsibilities: to combat Satan, to escort the faithful to heaven at the hour of their death, to be a champion of all Christians and the Church, and to call men from their life on Earth to their heavenly judgement. As he is the leader of heaven's armies, he is also the Patron Saint of Police and Our Military Forces.
